[Wherever they are, these two are in a dormitory or apartment complex of some sort with a common area. In the common area sits a piano, and today, there's a young man sitting at it.

Athrun looks at the keys, then at the sheet music sitting in front of him. He takes a deep breath, rests his fingers on the keys, and begins to play.

It's worth noting that Athrun is both inexperienced and out of practice. He isn't able to play it as well as it sounds in the video, frequently missing notes or pausing as he searches for the right key to press. Even so, he still manages to convey the emotion of the song he's playing. He's putting his heart into the song, and due to his brilliant hand-eye coordination, he's still managing to do better than a complete novice.

Hibiki also happens to be in the building at the moment, and in clear earshot of the song Athrun is working on. If she goes to look, she'll see Athrun's eyes boring holes into both the sheet music and the keys interchangeably. When he finishes, he slides the bench back from the piano, closes his eyes, tilts his head back, and lets out a deep breath.]

[He practically flails in shock and embarrassment.]

Goodness, forgive me! And I've been addressing you so informally...I'm sorry, I had no idea!

[Apparently he feels like he should be revering her. In Ky's defense, he's Catholic and she's a saint. Not to mention that he's French.]
