(Not)Family reunion...
Who: Rise and Cairistiona
What: Rise accidentally gets sent to Cairi's world from Exsilium, where the two met.
Where: Stormwind City, Azeroth (Cathedral of Light to start with, at least)
When: It is a mystery... (but sometime after Rise lost her "big sister" in Exsilium)
No one really saw what happened, least of all Rise herself. One second, she was in her private room in a succubus' extradimensional speakeasy, the next she was lying face-down on a cold, probably stone floor. If anyone noticed any sort of spectacle accompanying the arrival of a twintailed girl in a pink dress and matching hair bows, they certainly didn't act like it.
"Hello...?"
Her voice came out as worried, maybe even panicked, as one might expect. How did she get here? Where even is here?! Pushing herself up on her knees and hugging her arms tightly around herself, she looked around for any familiar faces - or even just a friendly one. Anyone who might be able to tell her where she was or what she was doing here.

However, the armor-clad woman happened upon Rise in a corner. She crouched down as her mace clanged to the floor and she smiled, wrapping her legs around her plate leggings.
"Hey. I'm Cairistiona Vyeth-Sunstriker. Who might you be?" she asked, offering her a bright smile.

"... Cairi-san?!"
At first she looked surprised, then a little uncertain. It had been a long time... maybe she didn't remember her? She wasn't really sure how to deal with that.
"H-hi. We've, um... met before. I'm Rise..."
She kind of still hoped Cairi would remember her, but she'd understand if she didn't. And she'd especially understand if she had any clue where she was right now.

"Have we? If I've forgotten you, I'm really sorry," she said with a slightly regretful smile. "You're in Stormwind, Rise, but more specifically, in the Cathedral of Light where believers of the Light come to worship and pray. Do you know how you got here?"
She briefly wondered if the appearance of her weapons were intimidating her and if so, she would happily remove them.

However... she looked a little curious again when the names were mentioned. "Stormwind...?"
Didn't Cairi mention some places like that before? She knew for sure that she'd mentioned the Light before!
She glanced around the cathedral again, still looking pretty lost. She was starting to suspect a possible reason why Cairi didn't remember her, but it didn't really seem possible!
There was really only one way to be sure, though. "Is this... where you're from?"

"Stormwind, yes. It's the main city of the Alliance, one of the factions in Azeroth," she explained as she sat down, the end of her shield clanking down along with it.
"It's where I live since my original home isn't safe anymore," she admitted with a sigh. "But, it's okay. One day, Azeroth will be safe, I hope."

"Azeroth?! But... I shouldn't be here..."
How could she have ended up in Cairistiona's world?! She didn't remember being sent on a mission, or anything... and it didn't work out so great when people tried to go to other worlds instead of just other times.
She didn't realize it, but she'd started trembling, overwhelmed at the thoughts running through her head. What if she never made it back? She could be stuck here for the rest of her life... and Cairistiona didn't even remember her! It was all just too much...
Tears started to well up in her eyes, as she looked up at Cairi again. What could she even say about any of this?
